Intellian OW7MP Manpack – Spec Sheet, Order Guide & Support Resources

Overview

The Intellian OW7MP Manpack is a fully integrated, ruggedized satellite user terminal designed for government, military, field operations and mission-critical communications.

Built around Intellian’s Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) technology, the Manpack is optimized for operation on the Eutelsat OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network, providing portable broadband connectivity in locations where terrestrial communications may be unavailable or unreliable.

Its compact form factor, rugged construction and rapid network acquisition capabilities make the system suitable for personnel who require quickly deployable satellite communications in challenging operational environments.

Key Features

Rapid Deployment

The Manpack is designed for fast field deployment and features automated true-north calibration to support rapid network acquisition.

Its compact design allows the terminal to fit inside a standard military rucksack, making it suitable for mobile teams and temporary deployments.

Eutelsat OneWeb LEO Connectivity

The terminal uses an Intellian AESA antenna optimized for the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO network, providing high-performance satellite broadband for portable and mobile applications.

Ruggedized Design

The Manpack is rated IP67 and is designed to meet demanding shock, vibration, drop-test and environmental profiles, including requirements associated with MIL-STD-810H.

This makes it suitable for operation in demanding outdoor and mission-critical environments.

Compact & Lightweight

The terminal measures approximately:

458 × 358 × 108 mm

and weighs approximately:

9 kg / 19.8 lbs

The compact form factor allows the complete terminal to be transported as a portable field communications system.

Low Power Operation

The Manpack supports:

  • 125 W standard power consumption
  • 100 W Power Saving Mode (PSM)

Power Saving Mode is intended for emergency situations where battery runtime needs to be extended.

The terminal can be powered using compatible external batteries such as the BB-2590, or through the supplied AC/DC power adapter.
