Land Satellite Internet for Remote Sites & Field Teams
When a site has no fiber or reliable cellular coverage, satellite internet gets your team online in hours instead of months. Global Satellite supplies and supports connectivity for construction sites, mines, oil and gas operations, utilities, NGOs, events and remote offices.
Fixed sites. Starlink Standard and Starlink Performance Gen 3 terminals deliver high-speed broadband for site offices, camps and temporary facilities. For enterprise networks, OneWeb user terminals provide low-latency service with business-grade support.
Portable and field use. The Satellite Emergency Kit (All-Day) pairs Starlink Mini with a GS battery and rugged accessories for off-grid work. Thuraya IP NEO and IP+ are compact broadband terminals that set up in minutes for field reporting and small teams.
On the move. Flat-panel terminals such as the Kymeta U8 keep vehicles and mobile command units connected while driving.
We help you choose the terminal, power and data plan for your site, ship it fast, and support it 24/7. Short project? Ask about Starlink rentals.
Frequently asked questions
Fixed terminal or portable kit: which do I need?
A fixed terminal suits a site office or camp that needs connectivity for months or years. A portable kit suits field teams that move between locations or need to set up in minutes.
How do I power satellite internet off-grid?
Options include solar with battery storage, generators, vehicle power, or battery kits such as our Satellite Emergency Kit. We size the power setup to your terminal and daily usage.
Can I use satellite internet while driving?
Only with a terminal certified for in-motion use, such as the Kymeta U8 or the Starlink Performance Gen 3 with an in-motion plan. Standard terminals are designed for use while stationary.
Can satellite internet back up my office connection?
Yes. Many businesses keep a satellite terminal as a failover link, so operations continue if fiber or cellular service goes down.
Can I rent a terminal for a short project?
Yes. We rent Starlink terminals by the week or month for projects, events and emergencies.
