How much does Iridium postpaid cost?
Global Satellite offers four Iridium postpaid plans: Seasonal 10 at $72.00 per month, Starter 25 at $80.00, Advanced 100 at $96.00 and Power 250 at $120.00 per month. A new activation adds a one-time $60 fee.
What happens if I use more than my allowance?
Usage beyond your monthly allowance is billed at 99 cents per minute. SMS cost 10 cents per message (up to 160 characters). Calls to other satellite networks cost $14.40 per minute, calls using an Iridium local number $1.49 per minute, and Iridium 2-stage dialing $1.92 per minute.
Is there a contract?
Starter 25 is month to month with no early termination fee. Seasonal 10 has a 3-month term with a $24.00 early termination fee. Advanced 100 and Power 250 have 6-month terms with a variable early termination fee.
How do I cancel my Iridium postpaid line?
A minimum 30-day notice is required for any request to deactivate an Iridium postpaid line or service. Charges and usage continue to apply until the effective deactivation date confirmed by our support team.
Can I renew my subscription for several months?
Yes. You can renew for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months directly from the plan cards on this page. If your line has expired, choose Reactivation after expiration: it includes the $300 reactivation fee.
What is voice pooling?
Voice pooling lets several lines on the same account share their minutes. It is available on the Starter 25, Advanced 100 and Power 250 plans for a 10% premium.
