What is Iridium Certus?
Iridium Certus is a satellite broadband service that delivers voice and IP data over the Iridium NEXT constellation of 66 low-earth-orbit satellites. Because Iridium covers 100% of the planet, Certus keeps vessels connected on every ocean, including polar routes.
On board, an Iridium Certus terminal such as the Iridium Certus 700 supports crew safety, fleet management, route optimization and remote troubleshooting, as a primary link or as a resilient backup.

Data beyond your allowance is billed per MB, from $14.10 per MB on Maritime 0 MB down to $0.50 per MB on Maritime 10 GB. Annual plans range from $7.99 to $0.95 per MB.
How much do voice calls cost?
Outbound voice calls cost $0.45 per minute on every plan. Inbound calls are free when the vessel is connected to the Iridium network; standard termination fees may apply depending on the calling party's carrier.
