Users have the option to enable email encryption for all messages sent from the portal to email addresses outside the portal. Email encryption adds a layer of security to messages, and helps with the management of sensitive information leaving the portal.
To enable email encryption, users will need to familiarize themselves with OpenPGP and use an OpenPGP Public Key when they create an Email Contact.
Email encryption is enabled at the Contact level, and each email Contact will offer users the option to include an OpenPGP Public Key if they wish to encrypt email messages to that recipient.
